When life is challenging you. It wants to make sure you go level up. To taste your own darkness in order to transform it into light. You see.. to become the radical self-lover you are, you have to break open. Embrace the rupture and move through it. Feel it with your whole being. Feel every emotion, because in order for you to become whole you need to embrace the light and darkness. This is the spiritual journey.
Hey, it’s okay to break down once in a while. It’s okay you reply to a ‘how are you doing’ with an ‘i’m fine when you know you’re not. You see we all have these masks to cover up how we feel inside. We are all battling our own demons in our own battlefields (our mind). And we are never finished learning and growing. In order for the light to shine brighter than before, we must acknowledge the darkness. These breakdowns show us where there still needs work to be done. Where there is still room for us to grow.
Keep the following things in mind wherever you feel beaten down:
- Allow yourself to feel all emotions. Do crazy dances when nobody is watching. Cry as hard as you when you listen to that awful Justin Bieber Song. Write down your feelings. Don’t rush yourself. Embrace the purge.
- You are doing the best you can be gentle with yourself.
- Don’t judge yourself or even worse: compare yourself to others.
- Take yourself on a date.
- QuiQueit the mind
Love and light to all. It’s time to embrace the idea of being raw imperfect souls. Hey, you are a badass raw human being and I love you. <3
Something I wrote on www.facebook.com/littlerebelbuddha and feel like sharing in this blog post:
When we rise, we rise together
You are much more than you know and I love you and how our journey is unfolding. I love how we are brave enough to deal with our demons..to heal our wounds – I love how we are brave enough to let our light shine. And the way we still choose to rise after stormy weather. I love who we are becoming. Forever expanding with our hearts open. Because you see, my journey is not different than yours. We all struggle and we all rise.
But when we rise, we rise together. I see it in your eyes.
