“I am kind of sad when I’m walking around in a bookstore. So many stories in one shop and I would never be able to read them all. “I heard a girl saying this in the American bookstore in Amsterdam. I smiled because I totally knew what she was talking about. Luckily, we still have the chance to go on a little voyage to discover beautiful books. Finding a book that I love, is almost like winning a lottery. (Never knew that I was so passionate about it, but that is how I feel). I’m just as passionate about Paulo Coelho, one of my favorite writers. This is why you really should know Paulo Coelho books:
“Have you already read the Alchemist? I want you to read it.” Said a friend of mine. Now I’m always craving for new books to read and her enthusiasm made me really curious. Once you have The alchemist in your hands you don’t want to let it go. It’s so inspiring that you will always remember the story. I promise it will give you a lot of goosebumps moments.
My all time favorite
The alchemist is about a young shepherd named Santiago. Santiago has a lot of dreams and visions about a hidden treasure. He decides to follow his intuition and magical things happen along his journey. He meets up with an alchemist and the message of this alchemist is: Where your heart is, is also your treasure. “If you want something, all the universe to ensure that you get your dream accomplished.” A lot of magical things can happen if you follow your heart and your own path. Yes! I love Paulo Coelho books because there are a lot of lessons you can learn from his beautiful stories.
The Alchemist was Paulo’s first international break-through in 1988 and is loved by a lot of celebrities like Oprah and Will Smith.
