Phew.. I left Hanoi behind and took the bus+boat to Cat Ba island. (4 hours). Cat ba island is known for its beautiful limestone rocks and raw nature. I just love to explore Cat Ba island because it gives me the feeling like I am walking on an alienated island.. on the edge of the earth. Is this a dream? Like subscribe! ❤️ And check out some of the pictures I took.
Explore Cat Ba island
You can also watch my Lan Ha Bay tour I did. Lan Ha Bay is even better than the touristy Ha Long Ba. This tour was around 15 euro and totally worth it. We even went canoeing. I also paid a visit to the national park in Cat Ba to do some hiking. Phew that was quite an adventure.
My first day exploring the island
The first thing I do when I arrive at a new destination is walking around and get lost. Today I walked for 3 hours and was amazed by the beautiful nature of Cat Ba island. I found a luxurious resort and sneaked inside to explore the area. All of the sudden I see a beautiful pathway up the mountainside. The Lara Croft in me is awake.
“Thought about 3 weeks ago when I was in bed recovering from my motorbike accident, then I realized that the only thing I will ever experience is right NOW. I’m exactly where I need to be and I feel gratefull for these moments..you know that feeling when something is so beautiful that it overwhelms you? It is because deep inside you know.. That this moment is the only truth. Just be here in the now.”
Capturing beautiful moments. This piece of paradise is breathtaking and I am really grateful I had the chance to explore Cat Ba island. I’m ready for more adventures in Vietnam.
