62.000 chakra’s and 7 main chakra’s
O, my God. I can almost hear your thoughts. 62 Chakra’s? Well I will not go into all of them. Just the first Root chakra for now ;). About 4000 years ago the chakrasystem was developed in ancient India. The word Chakra means “wheel.” And these centers can be explained as circles of energy. Energy which is called prana – life force. Just as we need food, we also need prana for our chakra’s. This has to do with the fact that people all have a energy body; a energy field with channels. These channels absorb energy and information. And all these energies have an impact on our physical, mental and spiritual level. If all these wheels of energies are balanced you feel on top of your game.
The Muladhara Chakra aka the Root chakra is located just above the navel, below the rib cage. This chakra is causing you to feel safe and grounded. If the rootchakra is balanced you feel stable, secure and you are not suspicious towards other people. You feel confident to go after your goals and dreams and you feel grounded. If the root chakra is blocked we have negative expectations because of fear. Fear is not necessarily a bad thing, because we all decide for ourselves what’s good or bad. Analyse your fears, because if your fears are holding you back from actually living your full potential: you have to get rid of them. Your root chakra is formed by your past and has influence on the way you act in the present.
Affirmation: “I am a divine being of light, and I am peaceful, protected and secure”
Your root chakra is one of the most important chakra’s. If this chakra is blocked it’s most likely that the other chakra’s are blocked aswel, because the energy cannot flow. You need a firm foundation.
Tools to feel more grounded:
- practice yoga – be aware of your body
- Dance like no one is watching 😉
- Take a shower and be present
- Go for a walk
Do you feel grounded? 🙂
