While I was traveling in South East Asia I was looking for healing techniques to learn. I was hoping to bump into a guru or something. You know how it goes in the movies and fairytales (eat pray love ehh ehh). I didn’t want to force the feeling of finding someone, I believed it would come to me at the right moment. And that thought worked out just fine; 2 days before I left Bali I attended a healing class where they activated us to work with the element of the wind. This technique is called Parisudha Vayu and was used 100 years ago by the ancestors of the people in the village. It’s such a fun technique to try out when you are newby when it comes down to working with energy.
Introduced to an ancient healing technique in Bali
It was really sweet to share this experience with guests from the resort I was working for. We started with a meditation to feel more centered and focused on the energy. The instructor explained us about Parisudha Vayu and the steps you have to take for this healing / manifestation energy technique. It was really awesome to be introduced with this ancient healing technique because you can use it for yourself, others or the whole world. Imagine what you can do with this if you are in a large group. With Parisudha Vayu (wind) you work with the wind element. I felt such a Airbender after the session. Airbending IS REAL YALL!
- Meditation to feel more grounded, relaxed and most importantly to quiet the monkey mind 😉
- Put your hands parallel to each other and send out your gratitude to the universe or Vayu (wind God in Hinduism)
- Feel a bubble of energy between your hands
- ‘Communicate’ with your heart to the bubble – For healing purposes of manifestation.
- Raise up your hands and send the energy with your intention into the universe.
At some point, I felt a pressure building between my hands. This is energy. If I moved my hands back and forth the energy would build up.
Me and my fellow ‘workawayer’ (voluntary) visited the meditation/healing school. I wish I had more time to practice in Bali, but I will certainly get back to it here in the Netherlands.
Make life happen for yourself
I decide Don’t let life happen to you! Make it happen for yourself. As human beings, we have forgotten our true potential. To busy focussing on our outer worlds. Chasing short-term happiness that won’t fulfill us in the long-term. Forgetting about our energy sides. This is one of the biggest mistakes we can make – Everything is energy. When you take responsibility for your own actions and thoughts, I’m no longer a victim of circumstances. At any given moment I decide! The whole world is inside of you. Your perspectives and your heart. We are the co creators of this life. Stand in your own damn light! Inspire to reveal the magic within you. When you rise I rise, we rise together.
