Yay, I’m a big fan of conscious festivals where a lot of like minded people come together. It’s like a big movement that’s all about empowerment, unity and love. So why not surround yourself with like-minded people at a conscious festival? There is no better way to raise the collective consciousness on this planet then to do it together. Take a look at these conscious festivals and get excited for 2017. Bring it on life.
Conscious festivals from all around the world
Let’s start off with the one that is closest to where I’m at right now; Bali *yay, The island of Gods. BaliSpirit is held once a year from 19 March till the 26th of March. This festival offers a lot of interesting activities and is mostly focused on healing, yoga and music. A lot of healers come to this event to share their skills and I believe you can get a lot of knowledge and improve your own skills. Do some yoga at daytime and enjoy live music at night. BaliSpirit is not only a festival it seems like it’s the perfect retreat too.
It has a beautiful community vibe in the spiritual heart of Bali: Ubud. And even children are allowed to join the party – It even has a children’s activity zone. 😉
BaliSpirit festival is one of Bali’s biggest conscious festivals and attracts over 7000 people from all over the world. You can imagine how well-known BaliSpirit Festival has become in the Island of Gods. If you like to read more about their workshops and seminars for example take a look at their website. BaliSpirit festival offers early bird tickets, until the 1st of February,
Boom Festival in Portugal
Boom Festival in Portugal is a co-creation place, every visitor is becoming a boomer, a contributor. With every penny they build the whole area from scratch. Boom Festival is such a vibrant place, they have chill out gardens, healing areas, visionary art and crazy dance temples. This is the place where the visionary comes to life and will transform into a high priestess or a shaman. Take a look at this after movie to get a sense of whats going on at Boom Festival.
What I really love about Boom Festival in Portugal is that its 100% transparent about their economic terms. I mean a lot of what I see today is that spiritualism is being exploited. There is a lot of money to be made with spirituality. The organization of Boom festival wants the festival to be sustainable and independent without sponsors. Unfortunately a lot of money goes to all of the taxes (of course ;)), but on their website you can read all of the details. There were ‘only’ 33.333 tickets available for Boom 2016. I even love that amount because I see the significance of the numerology, lol. The tickets run out very easily, so if you have plans to go buy your tickets in advance. Prices are from 130 euro till up to 180 euro. Click here to read more about the festival.
Envision festival in Costa Rica
Envision festival in Costa Rica is all about spirituality, permaculture, movement, art, music, community and eco building. I think the location of this festival is just wonderful because it has the best of both worlds: the rainforest and tropical beach. I can see myself dancing on the beach already ha! Envision is a place where people from all over the world come together to celebration the awakening of our human potential:
As a celebration dedicated to awakening our human potential, Envision provides a platform for different cultures to co-exist in sustainable community, and inspire one another through art, spirituality, yoga, music, dance, performance, education, sustainability and our fundamental connection with nature.
And they even have a special Envision retreat and tour program; community retreat, herbal clinical, post-retreat shamanic yoga. How cool is that, right? Envision Festival in Costa Rica is definitely on the bucket list. The early bird ticket that gives you access for 4 days costs $324. *All multi-day 2017 passes include 4-days music, camping and access to all of our yoga & workshops.
Psy-Fi festival in the Netherlands
Get deep inside the rabbit hole, deeper then you have ever been at the psychedelic festival in Leeuwarden, Netherlands. This festival takes place from 16 August till 20 August 2017. 5 days and 4 nights of Psychedelic trance and new realities. Psy-Fi Festival will be celebrating their 5 year anniversary so it’s gonna be lit! Their upcoming festival will have the Chinese I Ching as theme. “The Book of changes is an ancient divination text read throughout the world, providing inspiration to the worlds of religion, psychoanalysis, business, literature, and art.”
Go all out and visit new dimensions or join some learning programs covering topics about Psychedelics, ancient culture, permaculture etc.
Kiwiburn in New Zealand
Kiwiburn is also known as the Burning man of New Zealand. There are no stages, no headline acts and very few crowds. Kiwiburn is a festival where everything is possible because it is all about you. Bring your passion, play music, create crazy experiences with your friends or the people you don’t even know. You cannot attend the festival because you are the festival. From 25–30 January 2017 you can go all they way. Tickets for the event costs $170.
“Due to this collective nature we cannot offer you a program or featured artist list. You can check out the list of registered theme camps and art installations, but as to the true nature of what will be at Kiwiburn, we have no idea—and that’s half the beauty. There will be various kinds of music, art installations and people in costume, neon lights, fire spinners, drummers, random surprises, dancers, free spirits and healers… but that’s just us, and what we are doing… bring your passion and share with us your dreams.”
Which one is on your bucket list already?
